Self-compassion and Resilience
---
Course Content:
This course explores the foundations of self-compassion and resilience, helping participants understand the core components of compassion, the impact of neglecting self-care, and the difference between self-compassion and self-esteem. Through guided meditation, reflection, and practical exercises, attendees will learn tools to support emotional wellbeing and sustain themselves in the face of professional and personal challenges.
This workshop is partially based on the work of Kristin Neff, author of ‘self-compassion’ and ‘fierce self-compassion.’ It will explore how we can use self compassion to respond to set-backs and difficulties more effectively. We will use a range of tools including writing exercises, visualization and guided reflection to put our difficulties in a bigger perspective and gain resilience.
